This balsamic bruschetta is an easy appetizer that comes together in minutes.

Balsamic bruschetta on crostini is one of my all time favorite recipes. The fresh tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and balsamic glaze combine for an irresistible appetizer.
This recipe uses premade crostini for when you need a last minute appetizer or even an afternoon snack. I love this recipe all year round, but it is especially good in the summer, with fresh from the vine tomatoes.

- Mixing Bowl
- Spoon
- Garlic Press (optional)

Ingredients
Before you head to the recipe card for exact measurements, here’s a quick look at what you’ll be using.
- Cherry or Grape Tomatoes - I prefer using grape or cherry tomatoes in this recipe because they are less juicy than other tomatoes.
- Garlic Clove - The garlic gives the balsamic bruschetta a bold bit of flavor with just a touch of bite.
- Balsamic Glaze - I prefer balsamic glaze because it is thicker and a bit sweeter than balsamic vinegar. The balsamic flavor complements the tomatoes and gives them a tangy richness
- Olive Oil - The olive oil pulls it all together.
- Salt and Pepper - Classic seasonings that enhance the flavor
- Fresh Basil - The basil adds a freshness to this appetizer recipe that goes so well with the tomatoes.
- Crostini - The premade crostini makes this so quick and easy. I make homemade crostini occasionally, but I like the ease of premade sometimes.
- Fresh Shredded Parmesan Cheese (optional) - The shredded parmesan is an optional topping, but adds a slightly bold, salty flavor.

Instructions
- Dice the tomatoes, mince the garlic and chop the fresh basil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic glaze, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Just before serving, spoon the balsamic bruschetta mixture over the premade crostini.
- Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips For The Best Balsamic Bruschetta
- Chill for 30 minutes before adding to the crostini for maximum flavor.
- If the tomatoes are juicy, drain before mixing with the other ingredients.
- Drizzle with extra balsamic glaze for extra flavor and a pretty presentation.

Variations
- Add finely diced red onions to the bruschetta mixture.
- Top with feta cheese for a flavorful twist.
- Add thinly sliced prosciutto for a savory appetizer.
Storage
- Store the prepared balsamic bruschetta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Keep the bruschetta separate from the crostini.
