Balsamic Bruschetta

Description

This easy balsamic bruschetta is made with fresh tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil, and a balsamic glaze. Served on crunchy premade crostini for a quick, easy, and delicious appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • prepared crostini
  • freshly shredded parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes, mince the garlic and chop the fresh basil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic glaze, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Just before serving, spoon the balsamic bruschetta mixture over the premade crostini. 
  4. Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese if desired.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Chill for 30 minutes before adding to the crostini for maximum flavor.
  • If the tomatoes are juicy, drain before mixing with the other ingredients.
  • Drizzle with extra balsamic glaze for extra flavor and a pretty presentation.
