Description
These easy barbecue pulled pork sliders are so simple to make, but pack big flavor. Ideal for a simple lunch, an easy dinner, an appetizer, or a game day favorite. These sliders are an ideal way to use up leftover pulled pork.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (12 rolls) Hawaiian rolls
- 3 1/2cups cups pulled pork
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- Coleslaw (optional)
Butter Topping
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- In a medium saucepan on low to medium heat, add the pulled pork and barbecue sauce. Stir and let the meat reheat.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the Everything But The Bagel Seasoning and the Worcestershire sauce.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, taking care not to separate the rolls.
- Line the baking dish with parchment paper. Place the bottom halves of the rolls inside the baking dish.
- Place the slices on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
- Evenly spread the heated pulled pork across the cheese.
- Top with the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls.
- Brush the butter mixture onto the prepared rolls.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden.
- Pull into individual pieces and add the slaw if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Use a baking dish instead of a baking sheet. The bottom gets too brown too fast on a baking sheet.
- Do not pull the rolls apart before baking; it is much easier to work with the Hawaiian rolls while they are together.
