Description
This apple cider margarita is a cocktail made with fall flavors that can be enjoyed all year. Made with the traditional flavors of lime and tequila with an addition of apple cider, this margarita is ideal for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and any party year round.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 oz tequila
- 2 oz apple cider
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur
- sugar (optional for rim)
- cinnamon (optional for rim)
- apples, limes, cinnamon sticks (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Stir together the cinnamon and sugar, then pour into a small plate. Wipe a lime wedge along the rim of the glass and dip in the cinnamon sugar, rolling the glass to cover the rim.
- In a cocktail shaker, add the apple cider, lime juice, orange liqueur, tequila, and ice. Shake well. (If you don't have a cocktail shaker, check out the tips section.
- Add more ice to your glass, then strain the apple cider margarita into it.
- Garnish with apple slices, lime wedges, or cinnamon sticks.

Notes
- If you do not have a cocktail shaker, mix the ingredients in a separate glass, then carefully pour them into the prepared margarita glass.
- Be sure to use apple cider, not apple juice, for maximum fall flavor.
- Fresh squeezed lime juice is by far the best, but bottled lime juice can be used in a pinch.
- For a party or large gathering, scale the ingredients in a pitcher and serve.
