Ingredients
Before you head to the recipe card for exact measurements, here’s a quick look at what you’ll be using.
- Dry White Wine - I personally like Pinot Grigio in this pineapple sangria recipe. It has a crisp fruity taste without being a sweet wine. It complements the pineapple juice well.
- Pineapple Juice - I love pineapple juice in my sangria recipe. It is sweet and fruity and cuts through the dryness of the dry white wine.
- Coconut Rum - Traditional sangria has brandy in it, but coconut rum in pineapple sangria makes you feel like you are on a tropical beach. This is so good! Trust me on this one.
- Pineapple Chunks (optional) - Adding the pineapple chunks before chilling gives an added pineapple kick. This also adds a boozy snack to your pineapple cocktail.
- Honey - Honey cuts through the dryness of the white wine and adds a touch of sweetness.
- Ice - Sangria is best served cold. It has the best flavor that way, and it also cools you down on a hot summer day.

Instructions
- Cut the pineapple into one inch chunks. Add the chunks to the large pitcher.
- Add the white wine, pineapple juice, and coconut rum to the pitcher. Mix well.
- Refrigerate for 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Add ice to the serving glasses and top with pineapple sangria.
- Enjoy!

Tips For the best pineapple sangria
- Instead of ice, use frozen pineapple to keep the sangria cold in the glasses. It will keep the sangria from getting watered down.
- Replace the fresh cut pineapple with thawed pineapple chunks to make this even easier to prepare.
- Taste the pineapple sangria before serving. Add a couple tablespoons of honey if you would like it sweeter.
- Make this summer cocktail ahead of time and refrigerate up to 8 hours.

Variations
- If you are not a fan of coconut, swap out the coconut rum for silver rum.
- Make a pineapple rum sangria by blending the sangria with ice in a blender.
- Add in fresh slice strawberries for a berry twist.
